State of Undress

Review: This band from Christchurch, Dorset features Charlie Rose (lead vocals and percussion/harmonica), she has a wireless mic and likes to jig around the venue, Alan Rose (acoustic, lead and rhythm guitars and vocals), Malcolm Windett (bass and electric upright bass), and Keith Fletcher (drums and percussion), and the ever-smiling Samantha Jane (violin and tamborine). They play covers of tracks by The Cranberries, The Dubliners, The Levellers, and The Waterboys. They also play their own songs. They have 2 albums, "Undressed" and "Ghosts of Wasted Chances", and an E.P. "Christmas 'Round Ours". These are available either at their gigs, or from Amazon, Bordors, HMV, Play and other major retailers. They have recently released a CD of live recordings "Caught in the Act" (Cat No SOU004 Rosebud Records) which contains 12 of their own songs and one cover of "When will we be Married" by The Waterboys.
Please download their single "Red Waters" for 79p from Itunes as all proceeds go to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.
